Yes Chef, understand ;) I made Tahu berontak with cabbage yesterday. I have corn soup this morning for breakfast, that’s match because the weather is drizzling. I didn't find mili sardines and mustard sauce, I only found honey mustard :D but I will try to find ori mustard next time ;D
Just take the honey mustard Aci. I think It should be OK. However the sauces are just garnish/condiment not the main ingredients, you may take it or leave it as your preferred flavour. Good Luck with your experiment :-)

Ooo okay Chef :) Kmrn pas siang mau lunch itu kuahnya jd berubah rasanya wkwk jadi tak ambilin tongkolnya trus digoreng bentar dan di suir trus dimasak sm terong jd tumis terong tongkol suwir , alhamdulillah gak kebuang :p Chef , anyway agustus bulan depan itu sy udh setahun loh belajar masak dr web ini, resepnya gak habis2 masih banyak yg blm praktek jg :D spertinya total resep lebih dr 200 menu ya Chef ? Pdhal sy muncul trus hampir tiap hari loh disini hihihi..Happy weekend ;)
Cooking is learning process which never stop Aci :-). Don't worry I have more than 30 recipe books in my cupboard, varies from Indonesian to world cuisine foods which I know I won't be able to try them all but just by reading and looking at them I've already gained lot of Knowledge about cooking method & technique. You don't have to cook everyday. Too much..in anything will kill you :-D. Cook if you really have time & space for it. That's my motto! Have a nice weekend :-)

Ini tadi gak pakai lengkuas sm cabai merah karena kmrn blm belanja, trus pkai tongkol pindang, karena berfikir bukan pakai ikan fresh gak tak kasih asam jawa n jg gak di goreng dlu, hasilnya kuah enak tp tongkolnya rasa tongkol doang gak menyerap bumbu, pdhal biasa klo beli doyan banget tongkol kuah pedas gitu. Apakah karena - lengkuas n asam ?
Minus banyak itu Aci : Lengkuas, Cabe merah dan asam. Asam atau cairan apapun yang bersifat asam itu meski kelihatan sederhana tapi menyumbang peran besar untuk cita rasa dan flavour. Coba perhatikan resep ayam kremes/kalasan mengapa dalam cara pembuatan sering direbus dengan air kelapa. Karena kandungan asam di air kelapa membuat cita rasa bumbu/flavour lebih terasa. Kedua dugaan saya karena tongkolnya sudah matang, bisa saja jadi mati rasa kecuali kalau digoreng. Sebagian besar resep yang saya tahu umumnya pakai ikan fresh atau ikan/pindang jadi yang digoreng dulu spt resep ikan pindang kuah santan atau gulai ikan. Kalau pindang jadi tapi diolah mentah belum pernah nemu Aci. Itu saja kira-kira analisa saya. It's no big deal..try one more ha ha :-D

Just little bit tired but generally I am fine and healthy Aci. Thx for your concern. Penyetan is a good idea, maybe I need extra sambal extra pedas to recharge my energy LOL :=). Akhirnya dapat cabai rawit setelah 4 bulan absen uhuuy...
